Comstock Votes For National Defense Authorization Act

Statement

Congresswoman Barbara Comstock issued the following statement on the National Defense Authorization Act which passed the House today by a vote of 269 to 151:

"A strong national defense is what keeps America safe in a world where our values and freedoms are under constant threat of attack," said Congresswoman Comstock. "The National Defense Authorization Act will give the necessary tools to our brave men and women in uniform to fight an expanded threat to the homeland. This legislation improves the pay and benefits of our warfighters while at the same time reforming the Department of Defense so it spends the taxpayers' money more wisely."
